Lynn, there is the Plextalk Recorder that will both record directly into the
unit, and it comes with software that allows you to record with the
Computer.

There are other software out there as well, and a look at the DAISY
consortium web site will tell you what they are and how to learn more about
them. Here is the web site you'll want to familiarize yourself with.

Thx, Albert

Hello All:

Unless I totally misunderstand what a DAISY book is, I thought you had
players that would play DAISY books like the HumanWare stream. To record a
DAISY book you would use some kind of software that I forget the name of
right now that would in some way group audio or text files together in a
specific order for playback.

Hi all, long time since I've posted here.

I'd like to purchase a digital recorder for a text reader (person). I'm
mostly concerned about simplicity, clarity, cost and hopefully, ability to
encode the DAISY standard on it.

Any information would be most helpful.

Thanks in advance.
