A new company producing accessible applications using Smart Phones with Screen Readers as their operating platform. No pricing is currently set, but it is expected to sell in the low tens of dollars. Other applications on the horizon include a barcode scanner for the phone that will identify any nationally registered barcode. and, a transportation system that will give buss scheduling and location information. These products are still in development and are expected to beta toward the end of 2008. for more information please visit www.beaconsysinc.com If you have questions, please feel free to e-mail [email protected] _______________________________________________ Information mailing list [email protected] http://www.blindphones.info/mailman/listinfo/information To unsubscribe from this list please send a blank email to: [email protected] and follow the instructions in the confirmation message.
