Hello Lisa, Clicking the right mouse button on an empty spot on the desktop really is the easiest way to go. I would try moving your mouse to the right and then try right clicking. Unless you have a huge number of desktop icons, they are usually all on the left side of the screen. If you are on a blank spot on the desktop, the first menu item you will hear is Arrange Icons by ... which has a drop down menu with choices. If your first click doesn't work, try moving the mouse to the right and up. Good luck. I now want to know if anyone could tell me how to line up the desktop icons. I have windoes xp and I tried to find out the answer to this question on the internet. The only thing I could find so far is something about the process being a little different in windows xp. It said you needed to go to a blank spot on the desktop and click the right mouse and it would give you an option about arranging the icons. I don't know how to get to a blank spot. If you just right click on one of the icons it just gives options like creating a shortcut, deleting it, and so forth. If anyone can tell me if they know any other way to arrange them I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
