Subject: [VICUG-L] Download crisis

I am absolutely being driven out of my sanity space by this problem that has
arisen with both of my computers. Neither will allow me to download
*anything* from the internet! I'm a serious book addict, and at first
thought maybe it was a proglem with the NLS site -- but no, any file I try
to download just makes a funny noise (the computer, not the file) and
returns focus to the link, now calling it visited. Or, I proceed to the
download window, but nothing beyond 1 percent or so transpires.

I absolutely can't figure this out and I'm hoping one of you can help me!

Thanks in advance.

Deborah
