Re: Translating Braille to Text

Hi Elizabeth:

Maybe I wasn't clear.  The Braille Note doesn't work at all and this
person has Braille format books on computer disk and/or CDs she wants to
read.  She'd be putting them on her Braille Note if it worked.

ok, here you go.
1. create a file in the braille note (microsoft word type) 2.  go to the
block menu (bt keyboard, space with b) (QT keyboard control B) 3.
choose insert file, and choose the first braille file 4.  the file will
be automatically translated to text format.

Hello All:

I have a friend that has an older Braille Note which she cannot afford
to upgrade.  She is a JAWS user.  She's got close to 100 books in
Braille format (.brf) which she would like to get back translated to
text files so she can listen to them.

I know Duxbury will do this, but it costs around $600 I think.  Does
anyone know of other programs that one can get to back translate these
files?
