a v g virous scan program.

Hi all this is becky h. I took out nortain and put in a v g. I am not 
sure how to use it. I also talked to my internet provider and they gave 
me poromition to run an ftp server. the fire wall is configured 
correctly and I have an ip address. what do I do now? I am wondering. 
can someone please help me with this  problem please? thanks.
