Clarification of the term "ONline" Storage

I never heard of external hard drives being referred to  as "online 
storage", but to clarify, I'm looking for off site storage where I 
can safely back up masses of data. I'm in the process of putting all 
my music on a 1 terrabyte drive and I have several other USB drives: 
all of which I want to safely back up at some distant site. Lots of 
these sites are screen reader unfriendly. I was/am asking which 
services blind folks find user friendly and easy to use. I use WindowEyes 6.1.
