Dear Oe,

Thanks for this comprehensive overview. I should have pointed out the 
existence of the new implementation myself, but I simply forgot about 
it, since for various reasons (mainly GUI) my grammars have to run with 
both the old and the new trale. So I did not adapt everything to the new 
system.
