The major differences are largely performance improvements and bug  
fixes.
There are a few other minor changes or additions.

The ChangeLog file in sources/powerloom and sources/stella give some  
indication of the changes.  These are just derived from our CVS logs,  
so they may be a bit cryptic, but they do indicate some of the changes.
