I think if you can submit a patch you're better doing that.

There's several barriers to submitting a patch:
    * People usually are looking at documentation when they don't understand something. They often are not
be in position to improve the documentation as a result.
   * Almost all Windows users, and many unix users, haven't built from sources. Setting up and building from
sources in order to submit a couple line change in the docs is a high enough barrier to discourage most users.
