I have a strong preference for pceEmacs, not because of it's strength as an editor, but
because of it's strong integration with swipl.

I'd certainly be disappointed if pceEmacs went away. 

(In particular, I bet whatever replaced it would have various windows suckiness)

Interesting time for SWI-Prolog - I'm slated to give a talk concentrating on the IDE and web
stuff in SWI-Prolog in mid september - and it's all changing!
