This is going to be great for the ##prolog channel on freenode!
We get lots of students, it'll great for helping them.

Please let us know when there's a permanent version up!

The sandboxed interpreter is great on it's own.
I see so many instances when it'd be easier to have the remote connection hand me code to run.
It'll be particularly useful for virtual worlds, where the client's more often treating the server as a remote DB
and applying it's own business intelligence.

Subject: [SWIPL] Announcement: Homage to SWI-Prolog

As a (late) homage to SWI-Prolog on its 25:th birthday I have put
together a web application that hopefully can do for Prolog what apps
such as JSFIDDLE do for JavaScript. The name of the app is SWISH,
short for "SWI-Prolog for SHaring" and just like JSFIDDLE it allows
you to develop a program and then share it with others on the Web.

SWISH might be useful in an educational setting. If you are a teacher,
you may want to tell your students to share with you the solutions to
exercises by sending you a link to SWISH loaded with their solutions
ready to run.

A running instance of SWISH is currently available at

  http://swish.spyderbrain.com:5003/swish

Please go ahead an take it for a spin. But don't bookmark it, since
the URL is likely to change in the near future. Also, please remember
that this is an early version of SWISH and that bugs are therefore
likely to surface. I do of course appreciate any comments or bug
report that you may have.

The source code for SWISH is available on GitHub:
https://github.com/spyderbrain/swish .

Enjoy!
