Hi Anne, There is a field with a label "|:" down at the bottom. That is where you respond. If you are not seeing this field, or if it is no enabled at the right point in the interaction, I gues you are running Internet Explorer. I haven't tested on IE yet, so SWISH may not work there. In the reading and writing example there is a predicate read_and_write/0. Did you try that?
