To not show undefined symbols if make has an error.

I imagine my problem is unique, but here it is: If CHR detects and reports an error in the code, in refuses to generate the functions it normally would. make/0 then reports the undefined symbols. It's more than a page worth and so I cannot see the error that caused the problem. How can I change the behaviour of make so that if loading a file yields an error, it doesn't show undefined symbols?
