Error trying to run prolog: Illegal instruction: 4

Hi,

I have installed the latest stable release for a mac, so version 6.6.1 (for
MacOSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and later on intel) from here:
http://swi-prolog.org/download/stable

My mac is V10.7.5.

I'm trying to run prolog on the command line with:

/Applications/SWI-Prolog.app/Contents/MacOS/swipl

but I get the error:

Illegal instruction: 4

Could someone tell me how to fix this please?
