The site's definitely still got rough edges. 

Wouter, Jan, and I did it instead of whatever singing presents thing most people do on Christmas vacation,
so we know there's lots more to do.

Re making it flexible layout, we'd love to do that, just need somebody willing to set up the CSS so it all stays together
when resizing page. Your fix breaks header/footer areas on many pages.

as for other issues, we did a fork of the repo to do this, the fork's on github, feel free to file bugs

Congratulations on the new site! I think it’s an enormous improvement. Well done to everyone involved.

I’d like to make a small suggestion, though: On swipl.css:288 is the line
   width: 960px;
which causes my browser to allocate over half its real-estate to displaying the background. I can hack around this for my personal use by use a script to remove it for the swi-prolog.org domain, but I wonder if anyone else with similar display might also prefer it to be removed? I think it looks pretty good without the fixed width, but then anyone who has seen my graphics design ability might recommend you take any of my suggestions with a grain of salt ;)
