which OS on MAC

Hello, I have old MAc with  Snow Leopard OS 32-bit . Currently am finishing project on swipl  Version 6.6.1.
I need to buy new MAC. That would mean Snow Lion OS. Does anybody know about some problems on that OS for swipl 6.6.x  and alternatively, is Lion better for that version of swipl.
