Hi,

When compiling SWI-Prolog 7.1.10 on Ubuntu 12.04, I get at the end of the (successful) compilation the following strange and scary warnings:

QA Notice: Package triggers severe warnings which indicate that it
           may exhibit random runtime failures.
pl-term.c:129:5: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tgetent’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
pl-term.c:182:7: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tgetnum’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
pl-term.c:187:7: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tgetflag’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
pl-term.c:192:7: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tgetstr’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
pl-term.c:262:3: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tgoto’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
pl-term.c:266:3: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘tputs’ [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]

QA Notice: Package triggers severe warnings which indicate that it
           may exhibit random runtime failures.
pl-term.c:192:15: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast [enabled by default]
pl-term.c:262:5: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast [enabled by default]

Any ideas? Should I run for cover? Why me? Can these warnings be safely ignored?

Cheers,

Paulo
