I discovered the uses of ^C^B last year.  It never occured to me that edit/recompile was one of them.

Also cute: after finding the bug, edit it, do ^C^B to compile it, retry
and show that it works now.  It is a pity that these features are long
supported and that there are still quite experienced Prolog programmers
not knowing about this.  Let alone novices ...
