There is unfortunately no backports for swi-prolog but I could
successfully install version 6.6.x by temporarily activating the
repository of the testing version (Debian Jenny).

It doesn't drag many dependencies so it is not really dangerous for the
stability of your system but you should rather be sure of what you are
doing because mixing repos is not something that should be done on a
production server for example.
