I started with an empty wekafiles folder before installing the Auto-WEKA package. It appears to work fine. I tried both the AutoWEKAClassifier in the Classify tab of the Explorer and the Auto-WEKA tab in the Explorer. Still doesn't work on my machine (Linux Mint, Ubuntu 20.04 derived). Doesn't matter whether I use Java 8 or 11, with or without _JAVA_OPTIONS: openjdk version "1.8.0_292" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 1.8.0_292-b10) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 25.292-b10, mixed mode) openjdk version "11.0.11" 2021-04-20 OpenJDK Runtime Environment AdoptOpenJDK-11.0.11+9 (build 11.0.11+9) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM AdoptOpenJDK-11.0.11+9 (build 11.0.11+9, mixed mode) BTW I use that OpenJDK 11 flavor in production without problems (but I don't rely on the Weka package manager). What dataset did you test it on? I tried iris/anneal.
