I don't have any 'unofficial' packages. Also no to CUDA, to my knowledge. Thanks for the excellent clue: 'native' doesn't seem right for this file path. The 'users/billf/wekafiles/native/packages' folder contains all my packages. I dragged all those packages back into the 'users/billf/wekafiles/packages' folder (i.e. not in the 'native' branch, and which was nearly empty), and now things are back to normal. Perhaps some windows update moved everything into a new spurious 'native' subfolder, it's a mystery.
