"write.arff" support for "utf-8"

Hello everyone. I'm using the "write.arff" function in R. However, some characters appear corrupted in the resulting .arff file. There seems to be no issue within the R environment itself. How can I obtain the data in .arff format with UTF-8 encoding to ensure that the characters remain intact? When I save it as .csv, Weka is unable to read this data. Thank you in advance for your insights and suggestions.
