Hello, I am student doing his undergraduate degree in machine learning and I am using WEKA to do this. I am going to be using methods that use missing values and I had a question about Random Forest and does it deal with missing values like J48 (C4.5), this being a probabilistic approach using weightings? I have tried reading through your user manual about this and tried looking through the java source code but have not seen a definitive answer about it. However I defintely could have missed it in the manual and the source code. Although I have seen research papers were they have said it in terms of missing values random forest in WEKA does implement a similar method to J48. I would rather get it from an official source which is why I am here. _______________________________________________ Wekalist mailing list -- [email protected] Send posts to [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, etc., visit https://list.waikato.ac.nz/postorius/lists/wekalist.list.waikato.ac.nz List etiquette: http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~ml/weka/mailinglist_etiquette.html
