Fred, Yes, on Suse 10.0 AMD64, I get: /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/APR/Request/Apache2/Apache2.so: undefined symbol: apreq_handle_apache2 I've found out I get this even if I don't use Apache2::Request. Very frustrating. This is with apache 2.0.59 (thought maybe a different version might work, plus 2.2 failed because the build couldn't resolve libexpat).
