Thank you for the report, Philippe.

You're right that the documentation doesn't fully specify how substitution
paths are interpreted in all combinations of leading-slash and context. We'll
work on clarifying those missing cases (your point 1).

Regarding the structural changes (points 2–4) — converting the definition list
to an unordered list, merging the path items, and restructuring the tables —
we're not planning to take on that level of docs restructuring at this time.
The current structure has been stable and widely referenced, and a large-scale
rewrite carries risk of introducing new confusion. If you'd like to propose a
specific patch for those changes, the [email protected] mailing list is the
place to discuss it.

Downgrading to P3 to reflect scope (documenting the missing path-interpretation
cases only).
