I just noticed an acknowledgement which I think deserves highlighting in
comment #13 from that ticket:

As I wrote there:
A simple chart has value, but having an accurate or near-accurate chart (or 2)
would really help. Accurate charts would match much better what is expected
from a page titled “Apache mod_rewrite Technical Details”, but adding them
would not prevent featuring a simplified version (perhaps reserved to Apache
mod_rewrite Introduction, where it would be most useful).
