The =E2=80=9CWhat is it?=E2=80=9D section of the README starts with:

has grown to be the most popular web server on the Internet.

I find this misleading, implying or strongly suggesting that httpd is the m=
ost
popular web server on the Internet. But as reported in ticket #70039, accor=
ding
to a survey Apache itself cites, httpd would not have been #1 for 7 to 10
years.

By the way:
1. Even in technical circles, very few know the NCSA HTTP Server.
2. The paragraph=E2=80=99s last sentence suggests httpd is not yet =E2=80=
=9Crobust,
commercial-grade, standards-based server with freely available
source code=E2=80=9D. I consider httpd robust, commercial-grade and standar=
ds-based,
and its source code is freely available.
