            Bug ID: 70124
           Summary: HTTP/2 guide: Outdated intro =E2=80=9CHTTP/2 is the evo=
lution
                    of the world's most successful application layer
                    protocol, HTTP.=E2=80=9D
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.5-HEAD
          Hardware: All
               URL: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/en/howto/http2.htm
                    l#protocol
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P4
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

The =E2=80=9CThe HTTP/2 protocol=E2=80=9D section of the =E2=80=9CHTTP/2 gu=
ide=E2=80=9D page starts with:
> HTTP/2 is the evolution of the world's most successful application layer =
protocol, HTTP.
Even ignoring HTTP/1, there have been several evolutions of HTTP (since 202=
2=E2=80=99s
HTTP/3).

By the way, =E2=80=9Cknow 95% about foo=E2=80=9D sounds odd. I suggest:
> Version 2 of HTTP focuses on making more efficient use of network resourc=
es. It does not change the fundamentals of HTTP, the semantics. There are s=
till requests and responses and headers and all that. So, if you already ma=
ster HTTP/1, you master 95% of HTTP/2 as well.
