From that review, some proposed PMC members appear to have had limited activity, while several other contributors not on the proposed PMC list appear to have been significantly more active.

My review may not capture the full picture, contributions through mentoring, community building, and other activities are not fully reflected in those metrics I looked at. So I am asking for clarification on how this group was selected, and while there seems to be some obvious omissions, thanks in advance for the explanation.

I’m also curious about this. Just looking at public visible participation, I’m at a loss to understand how certain people are included in the initial list, but, much more importantly, why certain people are excluded - people who have participated much more than others who have been included.

I’d be happy to name names and share my data analysis, but I don’t really want to call anyone out here. I just want to ensure that folks doing the work are invited to the party, and given ownership of what they have helped create.

I would encourage the leaders of this community to take a hard look at who has been doing the work, and grant these people some ownership of the initial community.
