The 3-month window shows 128 commits vs 257 over 12 months, so that's 43 commits/month recently vs 21 over the year, so the rate has doubled. The lower absolute committer count (16 vs 27) can look like a decline at first glance, but reflects the shorter window. Was there another concern with the data?

On verbosity, fair point, the prompt can be tuned to produce shorter output.

On cost: around $0.10 in API terms (or $0 on a subscription), and roughly 2-5ml of water based on published LLM inference estimates. Not nothing, but not significant.
