Dear Apache Incubator Community,

I am reaching out to ask whether Ubunye Engine may be a suitable candidate
for future discussion within the Apache Incubator ecosystem, or whether you
could point me to the most appropriate pathway.

I am Thabang Lukhetho Mashinini-Sekgoto, a PhD candidate in Computer
Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Ubunye
Engine is an open-source framework for portable, configuration-first data
and machine-learning pipelines designed to run across local, containerised
and cloud environments. My broader work includes Sekhoto Multiversity, a
digital learning ecosystem, ThabangVision, and other community technology
initiatives.

My interest is not simply code hosting. I am looking for mentorship around
sustainable open-source governance, community building, technical
stewardship and long-term project growth. I would also welcome guidance on
relevant Apache communities, research collaboration, infrastructure
support, compute resources, grants or introductions to organisations that
support open-source projects.

Thank you for any guidance on whether incubation or another Apache pathway
would be appropriate.

Kind regards,
