Hi

+1 (binding)

I support accepting Maka into the Apache Incubator.

The project has an interesting technical direction and an active initial
community. I appreciate how the team has responded to the concerns raised
during the discussion, particularly around AI-assisted development,
provenance, and human accountability.

As a mentor, I’m willing to help the community address these issues and
develop its governance and community during incubation.

Best,
Xinyu

It also documents an impact-based fast path, requires public discussion before implementing project direction, governance, or major product decisions, and links to the ASF Generative Tooling Guidance.
