I checked:
- source distribution
-- incubating is in the name/version
-- signature and checksum are good
-- LICENSE and NOTICE are correct.
-- DISCLAIMER-WIP is present. Since the release is good regarding
LICENSE/NOTICE/dependencies, I suggest to move forward from
DISCLAIMER-WIP to DISCLAIMER.
-- ASF header is present in all expected files.
-- No binary/compiled file found in the source distribution.
-- build is OK from source distribution with JDK 17 but fails with JDK
11. However, the README still mentions JDK 11. I suggest fixing the
README by replacing JDK11 with JDK17 (not a blocker).
-- NB: the project.version property in the pom.xml (0.2.0-SNAPSHOT)
seems unused. It might be better to clean it up.
- spark runtime bundle jar
-- incubating is in the name/version
-- signature and checksum are good
-- LICENSE needs a fix: it documents checker-qual with MIT license but
without the license content: the license content should be inline. I
suggest to fix that for the next release.
-- NOTICE file is correct
-- NB: LICENSE-bundles and NOTICE-bundles can be removed as they are
identical to META-INF/LICENSE and META-INF/NOTICE
-- DISCLAIMER is present. It's surprising to have DISCLAIMER here
whereas the source distribution has DISCLAIMER-WIP. As mentioned
before, I suggest to move forward with DISCLAIMER in the source
distribution.
