Do you know which ones triggers it?  Could you put in some debug code so you 
can find out?

I don't see any errors in the script.

But, it seems to me that it only sends the first 5 arguments, this may be the 
case? try doing:

$cmdline = "|/usr/lib/bsmtp/bsmtp.orig " . join(' ', @ARGS);

May help.. :> not that I know the syntax of bsmtp...
