apache segfaulting

Apache segfaults when I add the following to a virtual domain:
	
	LayoutHeader /path/to/include.html

	Output from apachectl configtest
	--snip--

	Trying to insert <body*>
	ADDING LAYOUT:<body*> (1) (2)(1)
	../bin/apachectl: line 184: 17989 Segmentation fault      $HTTPD -t

	--snip--

I'm running:
	RedHat 8
	Apache 1.3.29


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
