problems with INCLUDES filter - Apache2

I am having problems getting Mod_layout 4.0.1a to cooperate with
cooperate with the includes filter. I can get Includes of layout
working, but not both at the same time.

I have the following in my httpd.conf (apache httpd-2.0.52-9.ent.centos4.1)


AddOutputFilter INCLUDES inc
AddOutputFilter LAYOUT;INCLUDES php html htm
LayoutFooter "<script language='JavaScript' src='/footer.js'
type='text/javascript'></script>"



Does anyone know how to get the two working together? I'm new to the
filter thing so I'm probably doing something very wrong.
