The make and make install worked flawlessly and I now have a file called mod_layout.so in my Apache modules directory: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 82352 Jan 10 13:35 mod_layout.so* I also have an entry in my httpd.conf file that loads the module: LoadModule layout_module modules/mod_layout.so However, when I restart Apache and attempt to load a page, I get the following entries in my error_log: [Thu Jan 10 13:54:11 2008] [notice] child pid 9127 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Thu Jan 10 13:54:12 2008] [notice] child pid 9129 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Thu Jan 10 13:54:16 2008] [notice] child pid 9133 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) [Thu Jan 10 13:54:16 2008] [notice] child pid 9131 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) And no page is loaded in my web browser. The errors go away after I remark out the line: LoadModule layout_module modules/mod_layout.so In my httpd.conf file and restart Apache. Without the mod_layout entry in the httpd.conf file, Apache works fine. Any ideas as to why this would happen and how I can fix it?
