Is there by any chance a Howto available on how to do this right > or am I on my own? It should be as simple as downloading the existing src.RPM from yellowdog, installing it.. (which will by default install to something like /usr/src/redhat) edit the SPEC file and change the line where it runs configure and change the --with-mysql to --with-mysql=/usr Look through the mod_log_sql archives about PHP (this is a common problem unfortunately) as well as reading the mod_log_sql manual on the issue. And DO post a bug to the yellow doc maintainers to NOT use the built-in mysql libs in php. It will make everyones day easier.
