traffic analysis

Hi, I'm new to this list. Not sure if there is anybody in here
since there are no archives as far as I can tell.

I'm currently working on a suite of web analysis tools that are
based on using a MySQL (or other database) as its backend.

From the documentation, it looks to me like the focus of
mod_log_sql is in compiling the data for output back into log
files for other analysis tools. Has anybody written applications
do directly work with the data while its in the database ?

Is anybody else interested in this concept ?
