OK, now, for my question:
OBVIOUSLY id3 info is getting read from the mp3 files... but, xmms
reports simply the MP3Castname... and, I can't see how to get at the
id3 info from the http interface... How do I get at this info?
Is it possible for me to (say) get all the songs by INXS, without having
INXS in the name? MUST I have a database for that?
I hacked in my own personal copy, for the name to be
Artist - Album - Title, so I can search etc.... But,
that seems very hackish...
What am I missing? Is there another mp3 player that has better support
for streaming than xmms?
Thanks,
Binesh
