It is lower on my current list then the new cache code for the internal dispatch and the streaming support.

Frankly I would install Apache 1.3. Why Redhat was stupid enough to ship out Apache 2.0 with a bunch of beta modules just boggles the mind.
You would think they were Microsoft. 

Personally I have not upgraded past 7.3 and I am looking for a different distribution. I can't use Apache 2.0 till mod_perl is feature complete and can run slash, so I lack interest in it at the moment. I would rather finish other projects then waste my time on software that should have never been shipped. I have had to modify mod_layout twice now thanks to change in the released version of 2.0 because of changes they have made.
The fact that the ASF's httpd group doesn't even seem to be willing to keep binary support within 2.0 makes me very uninterested in it even if they do get mod_perl fully working.
