The original mod_mp3 (currently at version 0.40) is strictly for Apache 
1.x and is known to _not_ compile for Apache 2.

Brian Aker started the Apache 2 port last year (2003) but I don't know 
how far he got.  I'm sure he'd love it if you could make some progress 
and send him patches. :-)
