Not sure if I qualify as active, but I am here, although I'm not an official=
ly sanctioned Apache developer, which I presume is a requirement?

I'd be willing to assist, but I can't lead development.

Fwiw, Joe Schaefer has forked the project on GitHub, along with mod_perl. He=
's been very active recently with mod_perl development. That's at least a po=
tential path forward for the remaining mod_perl diehards.
