proxy send body time out

Hi


the draw: apache 1.3.23-14 (patched 4 chunk) in rev-proxy;


behind, with a java tunnel (we have tu use a tunnel to avoid fw check) we
reach a backend with iis 5.0
this the header proxy receive by be:

the problem: browser receive the page after 5 minues (yes! 5 minutes...5
as five), and, with the page, the error message in subject of this mail


We are investigating where can be the problem, tracking the request and
the answer; we have trouble to reach backend w/out tunnel as there are 
many firewall in the middle; working w/out the tunnel  might allow us to
isolate the problem.


in the meantime, if this error message is meanigful to someone there:
proxy send body time out
any help will  be appreciated
