me using prefork :-)

httpd+modsec = backend servers with PHP
apache trafficserver = keep image requests away

mostly because <Directory> gives some nice options you don't have with
modsec on the load balancer and in don't like fcgi that mucu not talking
about a ton of vhsost with php settings in their vhost definition
