The modsurvey machine is back up again, although for how long I don't know. At least everything works right now. Which means: Hi joel I unplugged all cables again and tested to start it up. It seems to come up now. I got link on the network card, which I did not before Test and see if you can reach the box. If it is stable I dare not answer. To which I answered: > Ert meddelande > Skickat av: Joel Palmius > Skickat: 2006-05-17 14:20 > > *pust* :-) > > Så vitt jag kan se funkar allt. Which means: *whew* :-) As far as I can see, everything works. I get no notifications about hardware errors in the logs. Linux usually is good at whining about such things. For now I intend to cover my ears with my hands and say "baa baa baa!" and pretend as if nothing has happened. :-) Thanks for good support. -- This is good, cause I really couldn't afford to buy new hardware right now. I'll be even more careful with backups now at least, although still hoping the machine will survive for the foreseeable fututre. // Joel On Thu, 11 May 2006, Joel Palmius wrote: > Yesterday the co-location the modsurvey machine is on had an "electrical > failure".
