Hi Joel,

Just wondering if this issue was ever sorted out.  
I have the same problem.

I'm using:

redhat 9
httpd-2.0.40-21.9
mod_perl-1.99_07
modsurvey-3.2.0_rc1

Issuing rpm -qa|grep auth gives:

authconfig-4.3.4-1
auth_ldap-1.6.0-4
XFree86-xauth-4.3.0-2.90.55

I cant find any rpm for mod_auth on redhat 9, but httpd.conf has:

LoadModule auth_module modules/mod_auth.so
LoadModule auth_anon_module modules/mod_auth_anon.so


I had a look at Authentication.pm which has:

use Apache::Constants

and when I try to get it from CPAN it wont install on httpd v2
it wants httpd v1.3
