different behaviour between web servers

Hi,

In my development environment running in Visual Code and a live server
The carousel is behaving as it is programmed using CSS HTML.
The images  are coming from a misty  white  fog  from the right and
disappearing into a misty white cloud on the left.

However when I host it the white effect is not showing .

Same codebase
Same browser
I feel there must be a bug  in the webserver at the hosting site.
