WSIF and WebSphere 5.0.2

Greetings!

Does any one know why IBM removed the entire "
org.apache.wsif.providers.soap.apacheaxis" package from their wsif.jar
that is distributed with WebSphere 5.0.2?
The package is also renamed to "com.ibm.wsif.providers.soap.apacheaxis" and
saved in a separate JAR (wsif-compatb.jar)

Strange!
